Ariel Efraim

He is a Certified Public Accountant, with "cum laude" honors graduate at the University of Buenos Aires, School of Economic Sciences. He serves as Partner of the Tax Department, Transfer Pricing, at BDO Argentina, with more than 20 years of professional practice. He is responsible for planning and conducting transfer pricing works and projects, as well as for managing teams rendering international tax and transfer pricing consultancy services. He has extensive experience in matters of international taxation and transfer pricing, assisting multinational companies in different sectors (e.g. manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, spare parts, biotechnology, fruit and vegetables, mining, oil and gas, personal care, textile and clothing, packaging, services, distributing, agribusiness, natural resources, software, etc.) in Latin America in aspects of planning, documentation, tax audit and defense. He frequently teaches at different universities in topics related with taxation and transfer pricing. He usually be exhibitor and/or event coordinator in business chambers and professional entities and institutes of Argentina or abroad. He is one of the coordinators of the commission of transfer pricing at the Argentine Association of Fiscal Studies and an active member of the commission of international tax at the Professional Registry of Economics at Ciudad Autonomous of Buenos Aires. He is a member of the Transfer Pricing Centre of Excellence of BDO International for representation and leadership in Latin America.
